Sunday 9 November saw Branch Members join with members of the Hythe Community to commemorate Remembrance Sunday.  The Event was organised by Hythe Town Council with support from your Branch Committee.  The event was an extremely well supported and fitting tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom.  Following the Service Veterans, representatives of the Fire Service and youth organisations marched down the High Street to rapturous applause.

Following the event numerous Branch members retired to Prince Edwin's Lodge for lunch, our thanks go to the Worshipful Master for once again hosting the lunch.  Thanks also go to Lisa and her staff for looking after us so well.  After lunch a visit to the Albion Club to support their Poppy Appeal raffle rounded off a busy day for the Branch.
