Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary OF The End Of Op Granby (Gulf War 1) and 19th Anniversary Of The End OF Op Grapple (Bosnia)

Saturday 28 February saw Branch Members gather at the Hythe War Memorial for a Commemoration Service marking the 35th Anniversary of the end of Op Granby (Gulf War 1) and the 19th Anniversary of the end of Op Grapple (Bosnia).

The Service was led by our Branch Chaplain, Dudley Shipton with assistance from our Secretary Sqn Ldr (Retd) John Healey MIH (synopsis of Op Granby).  The lesson was read by our Vice-Chairman Major (Retd) Shayne Tibbles, with the EXHORTATION and Kohima Epitaph read by Branch Chairman, Ian Norman.

The Wreath was laid by branch member David Norman accompanied by his son, both of whom are veterans of Op Granby.

Following the Service Branch Members retired to Henry's Wine Bar to toast 'The Fallen'.
