In late January 1927 a meeting was held at Hose to consider the formation of a branch of the Royal British Legion. The Hose branch was originally a sub-branch of The Vale of Belvoir, which covered of a cluster of local villages.
However, July 23rd, 1927, a meeting was held in Harby to consider the formation of the Hose and Harby Branch’s as one. A unanimous vote agreed for the partnership.

In more recent years the branch has continued to play an active role across many local villages: collecting for the poppy appeal, as well as organising different community events. Having nearly reached 100 years as an active branch of the Royal British Legion, the branch is excited to celebrate the hard work and dedication of its members and support from its community in the coming years!
