VE 80 CELEBRATION

Come and join us at Stanhope Hall at 7:30pm for an evenings street party themed concert.

The evening starts with a warm welcome from the Horncastle & District Branch Chairman, followed by the Act Of Homage and a parade of the Standards.

Then to take us back to 1945 - listen to Winston Churchill announcing the end of the war in Europe and let the celebrations commence.

The Banovallum Brass Band will be playing a selection of 1940's tunes, supported by the brilliant vocalist Claudia Bush.

There is sure to be many familiar songs to join in with in celebrating and remembering the end of the war in Europe.

As its a Street Party theme, the hall will be decked out with plenty of red, white & blue bunting and flags.

The Horncastle and District Lions have kindly agreed to support this event and will have BBQ food & hot drinks for sale (cash only).

Attendees are welcome to bring their own Drinks.

1940's period dress / uniform or the wearing of Red, White & Blue is highly encouraged
