The Poppy Appeal

The annual Poppy Appeal is run by the branch, but you do not have to be a member in order to help the collection team (or to donate!).  We start door to door collections about ten days before Poppy Day.  The villages give generously every year.  It is also an opportunity for the village primary and pre-schools to get involved and the children often make tributes which are placed in the memorial garden.  If you want to help, please contact the organiser through Heddington MemSecretary [email protected]

2023 Collections

This year we plan to drive around the local area in military vehicles undertaking the poppy collection at the same time.

Also in the afternoon a meet and great with Military vehicles and refreshments at Heddington village hall.
