This year saw more than 200 people decend on the village and memorial to pay their respects for those from the village who gave their lives during the great war and the second world war.
As with every year a soldiers name is read aloud with the beavers laying a poppy at the alter and the explorer scouts exstinguish a candle at the sametime.
