Wow! We've had a fantastic armed forces day! 

The branch assembled at the village war memorial for midday for a brief service to remember our fallen from prior conflicts. After the service everybody went to the scout hut for roast beef.. cooked by our very own secretary to celebrate the achievements of our current armed forces personal! Oh not forgetting the homemade crumble! You could hear the 'ah' that's good as the room went silent!!! That's once a year occurrence! 

The president, Adrian 'mo' Morris managed to get a word in this year before the secretary, and chairman to address the branch stating that if it wasn't for its army of members and supporters there wouldn't be a legion.
