BRANCH CHRISTMAS LUNCH 2010

The Branch held their Annual Christmas Lunch on 12th December, again this year at the Crown Hotel, Harrogate.

Our guest speaker was the newly elected Mr Andrew Jones MP who gave a short talk about his life so far as an MP and without party politics about what is important to him as our Representative.   An invite to visit the Houses of Parliament may well be taken up in the Spring of 2011.

A special presentation was also made to Mr Les Hall, following 45 years of Poppy Collecting and this was made by Mr Jones.

A good lunch was had by all, only marred that the residents of Lister House were unable to attend this year due to a virus.  They were missed.
