A very big Thank You to everybody who supported the 2025 Poppy Appeal.

As at 16th December 2025 we have raised in excess of £29,000. The Poppy Appeal year end is 30th September, 2026 so there is still time to increase this.

 

Below is a list of dates for your diary on what's happening in the Harpenden Branch of The Royal British Legion.

 

19th January, 2026 Branch Meeting at The Royal British Legion (Harpenden) Club Ltd. 21 Leyton Road AL5 2HU commencing at 7.45pm

 

20th  April,2026   Branch Meeting at The Royal British Legion (Harpenden) Club Ltd, 21 Leyton Road, AL5 2HU commencing at 7.45pm

 

Armed Forces Day Saturday 27th June, 2026

A small wreath laying ceremony will take place at the War Memorial, High Street at 11am.

ALL ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT TO OUR ARMED FORCES.

19th October, 2026    Annual General Meeting at The Royal British Legion (Harpenden) Club Ltd, 21 Leyton Road, AL5 2HU. Nominations will be required for Officers, Standard Bearer & Committee Members

Remembrance

Saturday 24th October, 2026

Opening of the Field of Remembrance and Launch of the 2026 Harpenden Poppy Appeal by the War Memorial, High Street 11am

All are welcome to attend

 

 Sunday 8th November 2026

Remembrance Day Parade & Service

The Parade will form up in Rothamsted Park from 10.15am for a service at the War Memorial, High Street at 10.50am.
