D-Day Memorial - Eightieth Anniversary. On the 6th of June 2024, The Hailsham & District Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold a memorial service at 0630hrs, to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the D-Day landings in 1944. It will take place adjacent to the Hailsham Memorial, in the high street. We will muster for the event at 0615 adjacent to the war memorial in Hailsham High Street. Breakfast will be served in the Charles Hunt Centre on completion. Please let the secretary know by email (HailshamDistrict.Secretary@rbl.community) if you will be attending.
