Hadleigh

The Hadleigh & District Branch organise the annual Remembrance Day parade and service in Hadleigh.  The parade steps off at 14:00 from George Street (outside the RBL Club).

After a short wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial the parade makes its way to St Mary's Church for the Remebrance Service.  The service starts at 15:00.

The Branch also carry out a short Remembrance ceremony at 11:00 on the 11th ot the 11th at the High Street end of George Street.  This event normally attracts a small gathering and a 2-minute silence is observed.

In addition to the annual Remembrance events, the Branch also organise commemorative events to mark the major anniversary.  These are usually in line the the larger national events and in recent years have included; ANZAC Day 2014, Start of WW1 centenary 2014, VE & VJ Day 70th 2015, Hadleigh's Gallipoli 100th anniversary 2015.
