A great evening as Garry Mills, President of the Royal British Legion, Gloucester City Branch, received from the Rt Worshipful, The Mayor of Gloucester, Councillor Collette Finnegan, the Freedom of the City of Gloucester, unanimously awarded to our Branch by a special meeting of the City Council. This award comes in the year of our Branch centenary. Gloucester City Council awarded the Freedom of the City in recognition of the hard work and dedication shown over the past 100 years to the serving and veteran community.
