The Poppy Appeal is the RBLs main source of funding for benevolence, and at Remembrance Tide many volunteers step forward to help at the Appeal tables. 

2019 was the second year that we were helped by the Oxon Brownies, they were presented with small woven Poppies in recognition of their support. 

2020 - A cheque to the value of £1800.00 was presented to Mr Bill Dawber, Chairman and Poppy Appeal Organiser by Mrs Sandra Clarke after the Remembrance Service which took place outside due to Covid restrictions. Sandra had manufactured face masks and sold Poppy Pin Badges, absolutely fantastic donation, thanks to all who donated along the way.

In 2023 the Brownies once again helped at the Co-op Store in Bicton Heath.
