VJ Day Celebration

We are delighted to invite you to a special event commemorating the 80th anniversary of VJ Day – a moment to remember, reflect and come together as a community.

Join us for our Anniversary Tea Party on Sunday 17th August from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at Fawley RBL, Exbury Road, Blackfield.
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee, accompanied by the nostalgic sounds of vintage vocalist Terrie-May McNulty, who will be performing live throughout the afternoon.

Tickets are just £5 per adult, £3 for children aged 5–14, and free for under 5s.
They are available to purchase at the Fawley & District Royal British Legion – and please note, the event is open to non-members (unless entry to the club is restricted).

This is a wonderful opportunity to mark this important occasion with friends and family. We hope you’ll join us in honouring those who served and sacrificed, and in celebrating peace and freedom hard won.

Membership Fee Update – Effective from 4th September 2025

We wish to inform all members that the Royal British Legion membership fee will increase from £20 to £22 from Thursday 4th September 2025. This change will apply automatically to new memberships and renewals from that date. The increase follows a motion passed at the 2024 Annual Conference and supports the continued delivery of the Legion’s vital work with the Armed Forces community.
