Liberty Lodge

Liberty Lodge was opened in February 2009 to provide accommodation for veterans of the Falkland's conflict visiting the Islands. The Royal British Legion contributed £90000 towards the construction of the Lodge. The Falklands Veterans Foundation manage the continued financing of the Lodge by securing charitable donations from many sources. It is free to stay at the Lodge although donations made at the end of any stay to assist with running costs are appreciated.

You can book a stay at the Lodge, on a first-come first-served basis, by emailing the Lodge Manager.

The story of Lodge can be found on the FVF's website.

Serving Personnel from Mount Pleasant and their famalies may also use the Lodge if there is spare room although visiting veterans always take priority.
