September                                                                                               Merchant Navy Day 3rd Sept     
                                                                                                                   
                                                                      
We will be raising the flag, in respect to those who lost their lives and those who have served and are still serving.
       Our own Merchant Navy Veteran, Robert Hall will be raising the Flag at 09:00hrs.
    If attending please be at the Flag pole near Almonry at 08:45hrs.
    Prayers will be said by Rev Andy Green. Phillip Rowne-Speed (Chairman), will be in attendance.
If you are come to the Raising of the Flag, please wear something with Red on.
This is in remembrance for the Red Ensign.
       
Battle of Britain Day
 September 15th 10:30 hrs for 11:00 hrs.
R.A.F.A will be meeting at the Cemetery on Waterside to remember those who served & lost their lives protecting this Country against the constant onslaught of the Luftwaffe.
R.A.F.A invite all members & Veterans to attend this remembrance.
Local School children have been invited to lay crosses to those who lost their lives.

an enjoyable weekend was had by all.

                                                        Fish & Chip Dinner (For Members Only)

                                                  The dinner took place on the 16th August 2025 5.00pm                                                                                                 The venue :- Masonic Lodge Hall Swan Lane Evesham WR11 4PD

 Menu :- Fish & Chips Mushy peas Tea or Coffee included 

An alternative menu options:- Scampi or Steak Pie, the meal was entirely Gluten free.

          Our Chairman Phillip Rowne - Speed & Evesham Branch Members we would like to thank the Mayor for attending, Christine Deputy Chairwoman & Simon for organising the Dinner & the Caterers for an enjoyable relaxing meal.

Littleworth & District Royal Legion Branch celebrated there VE Day with a Tea party hot & cold drinks cakes music raffle & a school colouring competition during the day, they continued into the evening with Betsy Harmony Wartime songs knees up sing a long Lindy Hop Swing big band Jazz & nostalgia from the 40's period dress optional later a disco into the early hours. 

Saturday 10th Wallace House 'Royal Legion Tombola',   Sea Shanties, Indian Dancing, Forrest Thump Drummers, EDPA, LGBTQ+, Crafty chat, Caring hands, Quilts display, Evesham Volunteer centre, Evesham Refugees, Percussion, Almonry museum, Romanian dancing, Faultline Thanx Alotl, Local bands Bone reading with Mandi and more.  

Saturday 10th RAFA & Ecgwins club had a 40's afternoon tea singing dancing.

Representatives from Local Schools as well as the Public.

February 2025:-

  13th February Sad passing of Alan Booth funeral took place at St Peters Church Bengeworth.

          Mayor of Evesham & passed Chairman & Vice Chairman of British Royal Legion Evesham Branch.
