The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
Remembrance day for 2021 will be on the 14th November, parade from St.Marys church, church street Eastwood, and heads finally to Cenotaph for laying of wreaths and service at 11am
The local council are putting up lamp post poppies on the 29th Oct so Keep an eye out for those popping up around the town!
