Eastbourne Poppy Appeal 
Presentation Evening 12 February 2025

On Wednesday 12 February 2025, we proudly celebrated another successful year of the Eastbourne Poppy Appeal with a special presentation evening recognising the incredible dedication of our volunteers.

Photos from our Volunteer Poppy Reception captured the warmth and community spirit that makes the Appeal so special. We were delighted to honour some of our longest-serving supporters for their outstanding commitment:

• Richard and Liz Goude – 15 years of service

• Allan Leith (Chairman) – 20 years of service 

• Angus Scott – 45 years of service

• David Copp – 50 years of service

Awards were presented by Andy Brown, our Area Manager, who thanked each volunteer for their tireless efforts.

Over the years, thanks to the dedication of these remarkable individuals and the wider team of collectors and supporters, Eastbourne has raised a tremendous amount to support veterans, serving personnel, and their families.

A heartfelt well done to everyone involved—your commitment ensures that the Royal British Legion can continue its vital work year after year.
