National Service Day - 26th June 2016

The annual National Service Day was on Sunday the 26th June 2016 at the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas.   A service of thanksgiving was held at 2 pm followed by a large parade of National Service Veterans, also detachments of the three services - The Royal Navy, Army and The Royal Air Force.   An address was given at the service by Major General Patrick Cordingley DSO, DSC, FRGS who also took the salute as the parade passed the dias.
