Allied Air Forces Memorial Day
On Sunday the 4th September 2016 members of the branch along with the branch standard attended the above Memorial Day at the Yorkshire Air Museum - Elvington where during WW2 French Airmen were stationed there as part of Bomber Command working along side the Royal Air Force. Attending included a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, Air Chief Marshall Sir Stephen Dalton GCB ADC LLD (Hon.) DSc (Hon.) BSc FRAeS CCMI RAF. also several high ranking officers of the French and Belgium Air Forces also took part. The sservice was conducted by Squadrodn Leader The Reverend Richard Clement.
