On Tuesday 18th September 2018, Dunmow & District Branch participated in the Royal British Legion John Brown Bowls competition, held at Dunmow Bowling Club. The Branch team, led by Branch Treasurer Rose Weston, did remarkably well in reaching the Final and finishing as runners-up, eventually losing out to the eventual winners Stoke-by-Clare.
