There will be a minute’s silence on the Market Place on Friday 11th November at 11am led by Reverend John Cruse. Please join us in honouring all those who sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade 2022
Diss Town Council and the Royal British Legion are also pleased to invite the public to take part in a planned event to remember our fallen heroes. The Diss Remembrance Sunday parade and service will take place on Sunday 13th November. The parade will leave Mere's Mouth at 2.15pm, continue up Market Hill, around Weavers restaurant and then back down St Nicholas Street to end at St Mary's Church.
Representatives from 35 local organisations will then be invited to lay wreaths at the war memorial.
A service at the church will follow at 3pm.
