Dawlish

What a wonderful day and the weather couldn't have been any better for our parade, which was the largest and most well supported ever seen by branch president, Lt Cdr T Elliot MBE, RN (Retd).

After the outdoor service and wreath laying at the war memorial, it was back to HQ for the raffle, buffet, and refreshments.

The womens section took charge and made a wonderful job of laying out the buffet, which a number of people contributed food to and where I have to say a big thank you to Lloyd Maunders in the Strand, Dawlish, for their contribution of a nice big bunch of chipolata sausages.

Below are some photos of the day including one of Alec in a silly mood, taken by his granddaughter Lucy.
