Dawlish Branch Committee were recently presented with the Cameron Cup at the county conference where the committee posed for a picture with the cup before the Air & Navy cadets affiliation ceremony, of which there are photos of the occasion and one of 2401 sqn ATC cutting their cake.

DAWLISH Royal British Legion have signed the official papers marking the affiliation of their branch with two Cadet groups – Dawlish ATC and Teignmouth Sea Cadets.

The Legion expects to complete the set by affiliating with Teignmouth Army Cadets in the near future.

Legion chairman Alec Fewings said: ’ Several Legion members, myself included, began with a Cadet group many years ago, and this is a way of maintaining close links.

‘We hope to work in supporting the cadets, and become more involved in their activities as well as helping them in their fundraising.’
