BERNARD FAULKNER CUP

Another great night at The Bull, Langley playing for the Bernard Faulkner Cup; this year won by Paddy Cable with Andy Hudson being runner up. They will be presented with their cups at the March Dinner next year. 

A special thanks to Ben and Sarah from The Bull for their refreshments (yum yum). The raffle raised £29, which with last night's raffle will go to Clavering Care.

JACK LIVINGS DARTS TROPHY

The trophy was won by Ben Blackaby, with Malcolm Smither being the runner up. It was mentioned by one of the dart players that we are improving and even get the darts onto the board! Another good eveningwas had by all and well done to Bernhard for keeping the score. 

We raised £25 from the raffle, which, with the mext darts match takings will go to Clavering Care.

The next darts match is the Bernard Faulkener Cup on Wednesday 25th October 2017 at 7.30pm at The Bull, Langley.

ADMIRAL STEVENS' CUP

WE WON the Admiral Stevens' Darts Cup at Takely on Friday 9th June, with four pairs taking part;Beryl and Paddy, John and Ron, Alan and Malcolm and Duncan and Ben. Duncan and Ben went on to win the cup, which I believe Clavering have never won, so well done to everyone.

DARTS AT THE BULL

We had a new kid on the block, Andy Hudson, join us for the darts match at the Bull, Langley on Tuesday 21st February for the Ronald Jeffrey Cup - he only won it, with Ben Blackaby being runner up. Well done to both lads. We had another wonderful evening with refreshments. The raffle raised £36, which will go to Macmillan Nurses.

DARTS AT THE BULL 18TH OCTOBER

We were a little short of players for the Bernard Faulkner Cup on Tuesday 18th October at The Bull, Langley, so myself (Beryl), Enid and Liz had to step up to the Oche. We tried to give the men a run for their money, but a good time was had by all and we raised £38 on the raffle to go to St. Clare's Hospice.

DARTS AT THE BULL, LANGLEY LOWER GREEN

Another good night at The Bull, Langley playing for the British Legion 'Jack Livings Trophy. With Ian Duncan (on the left), being the winner and Ben Blackaby (on the right) as runner up and Jack Livings presenting the cup. £28 was raised on the raffle, which is going to the Alzheimer's Society.

The next darts match will be at The Bull, Langley on Tuesday 18th October at 7pm - all welcome.

 Ian Duncan (on the right) was the winner, John Smith runner up. We made £33 on the raffle going to Macmillan Nurses.

Tuesday 15th September 7.30pm

The darts match for the Jack Livings Trophy on Tuesday 15th Sept. was attended by eleven people with 8 playing for the trophy
which was won by Ron Couchman with Dean Smith being the runner up. But Dean won the highest score of the evening award with 97.
A good time was had by all.
We also raised £54 from the raffle which we donated to Clare Hospice.

Here's the results and photo  of the darts match held at the Bull in Langley on Tuesday 27th October.
It was for the Bernard Falkner Cup with Ian Duncan (on the left) winning and Peter Beavan runner up.
We also raised £45.00 on the raffle which will go to the Poppy Fund.
Next match will be in February 2016 date to be notified.

DARTS HAS STARTED AGAIN!!
April 2023

As part of our April meeting we had a very successful darts match. Nobody was injured during this match, although there were some near misses! We were supplied with some light refreshments - pizza and sausage rolls - and a great evening was had by all.
