The Branch was first established in 1921, but after a long period of inactivity closed several years ago. This was due to age and infirmity and being unable to form a fully functioning committee, following this the branch was placed under the administrative control of the Nottinghamshire County RBL Committee.

With the help of the County Committee during 2023 a number of branch members met informally, until we were at the point where we were able to form a full committee, so much so on the 27^th April 2024 we relaunched the branch.
