Dedication from all, to those who gave all
Endless help to those who answered the call
Devoted to those who, though injured; remain
In ensuring their banner shall fly without
stain
Ceaseless their memory throughout countless
years
Able to assist their loved ones through
tears
Total the work in word and in deed
In activities always to help those in need
Over all years we will have no regret
Never let it be said we would ever forget
The poem above was written especially for the Dedication Service
by Len Baynes, ex-Royal Navy and read by Clarissa Duggan, who on
her 16th birthday in 2011 joined the Chatteris RBL
Women's Section
Chatteris Royal British Legion once again offer their grateful
thanks to the families of the late Ray & Brenda German
and Basil & Dorothy Wells who so generously donated the
new Standards to the Chatteris Branch and to the Chatteris Women's
Section
