On the 100th anniversary of the day they fell, Chatteris Royal British Legion will hold a short ceremony at 11am at Chatteris War Memorial
They will tell the story of the fallen soldier, read a poem then lay a Poppy Cross
We welcome all who would like come along. We are particularly pleased to welcome members of the soldier’s family
Some ceremonies will take place at the graveside, where the person was bought home and is buried in one of the Chatteris cemeteries
