CALVERTON & WOODBOROUGH BRANCH OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
2018 is an extremely important date in the RBL calendar as it marks the centenary of the ending of the First World War.
Our Branch will be organising events throughout the year to celebrate/commemorate the event.
We hope to involve all the schools, churches and the communities in Calverton and Woodborough. so that we can make it a memorable occasion.
If you have any thoughts or ideas of how we can ahieve this aim, we would love to hear from you.
Our last fundraising event took us to the new Calverton Village Hall, where we held a carboot and tabletop sale. This proved to be a successful event and we hope to be repeating it later in the year.
Our events committee are busy filling in our calendar to help raise money for our needy comrades and we hope that you will continue to support us where possible.
Sue Bereznyckyj. ARRC Secretary.
