November 2022's Meeting & AGM
AGM
Confirmation of AGM Minutes November 2021
Bob C read out the minutes from last year’s AGM and these were accepted as
complete & accurate.
Secretary annual report
Bob advised that a form MS1 has been filed each year after the AGM to advise the
RBL Byfield & District branch committee members centrally to RBL.
This year the RBL has stated that Self Declaration forms for all committee roles held need
completing, including the district Poppy Appeal Organiser.
A copy of the Self Declaration form is attached for reference.
Bob has had communication with Emma Shepherd, Membership Engagement Supervisor,
who has confirmed that the usual MS1 and all self-declaration forms need completing for
a branch to remain viable.
Bob confirmed that Graham W, Chair and Graham P, Membership Secretary
have both stepped down, and that he personally feels unable to sign the Self Declaration
forms, and so unless there is a central change of heart at RBL, he will also have to step
down in the future.
