Many thanks to 1st Burbage Brownies for the invitation to join them tonight, Thursday 2nd November 2017, to help them complete their Poppy Challenge badge.

We talked about Remembrance, why the Poppy is the symbol of remembrance, who we remember and the role of the Royal British Legion and then the Brownies all made their own Poppy.

The Brownies had also made 4 amazing gift boxes full of treats for us to give to local veterans accompanied by cards handmade by the Brownies. A really lovely thought that weare sure will be very much appreciated by the lucky recipients.
