Poppy Appeal 2020

***Breaking News***

The 2020 Poppy Appeal has raised a MASSIVE 8774.16 euros!  This is fabulous news given the constraints we were all under and thanks go to Ann and Dave Morley for leading the fundraising efforts for their ninth year in a row. Bravo!!!

The Legion’s work is more vital than ever as we support people from all generations who have new hardships as a result of Covid-19.

This Poppy Appeal, we want to ensure that everyone can still get their poppy, so the RBL has developed an A4 poster of the iconic Remembrance Poppy that you can download, print, and display at home, perhaps in your front window.  Download me!

Poppy Appeal 2019

Brussels Branch has shown both its fundraising skills and the generosity of the people of Belgium by once again improving on its Poppy Appeal total. In 2019 we aimed to surpass last year's final total of 8677.50 euros and this was achieved with a magnificent 11.131,37 Euros!

The appeal this year was kicked off in style at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Headquarters (NATO HQ) with a rousing serenade by the Military Wives Choir.  537.87 euros was collected from the NATO staff in one lunchtime sitting!  It proved to be a cracking start to the 2019 appeal.

We wish to thank ALL the people of Brussels and the surrounding cities, towns and villages, as well as our supporters from local, national and international organisations within Belgium, who have been so generous once again.
