CONVENING NOTICE - BRANCH AGM

Notification is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of ROYAL BRITISH LEGION CENTRAL BRITTANY BRANCH will be held at Relais de l'Oust, 56120 Lanouée (Josselin) on Tuesday 8^th November 2022 at 12:00hrs

All Branch Members are invited to attend.  Apologies for non-attendance should be addressed to the Chairman or Secretary.

The business to be transacted shall be:

• Consider Reports and Accounts for the past year.
• Elect the following Officers of the Committee:
  • Branch Chairman (3 year term).
  • Branch Vice Chairman (3 year term).
  • Branch Honorary Secretary (3 year term).
  • Branch Honorary Treasurer (3 year term).

• Elect the following members of the branch committee:
  • Membership.
  • Entertainment.
  • Social Media and Publicity.

• Any other proposals for the good and benefit of the branch.

Please confirm your attendance at the AGM and return completed nomination forms to the Branch Secretary no later than 1^st November 2022.

NEWSLETTER - February 2022

Hello Everyone

For those of you who did not receive my last e-mail I have recently taken over as the Secretary for the Central Brittany Branch of the Royal British Legion which is back up and running.

The past 2 years have been hard on everyone and hopefully things are starting to get better for everyone.  The branch is now starting to get back to normal activities and will be holding our first social meeting.

The event will be on Tuesday 1^st March at 12:00hrs at Le Relais de L'Oust, Lanouée.

As previously there will be a meal and drink.  Cost to be by paid by attendees, a topical Quiz and a Raffle.  Donations for raffle prizes are welcome.  So if you have any New unwanted Christmas presents you don’t really want to keep, please bring them along.

The venue has asked for the number of attendees.  If you think you will be attending could you please let me know by replying to this e-mail with the number attending.

This is an ideal opportunity to catch up with friends you have not seen for a while, so please do come along.
