Some of the French ladies of the knitting group who meet in the Mediateque centre in Baud for a chat and a coffee a couple of times each month, have kindly offered to help us by making some of the crochet poppies, which as you know have been making lots of money for the Poppy Appeal. The atmosphere is very friendly and the next (free) meeting is on March the 22nd, if anyone would care to join us. It is also, of course, a good relaxing way to improve our French.
