Every poppy helps the Royal British Legion to support the British Armed Forces past and present, and their families.

Every poppy helps raise the £1.6 million needed by the Legion each week to deliver direct, practical care and support to the Armed Forces community.

The Poppy Appeal allows the Legion to provide life-long support for those in need.

Each year, the Legion will answer over 170,000 calls for help.

Every poppy helps:  

• Armed Forces families to go on a family break,  so they can get away and share quality time together. 
• Service children play together on Adventure Breaks to forget the challenges of being a Forces child. 
• Bereaved families get the support they deserve at inquest through our independent Inquest Advice Service. 
• Armed Forces families facing personal difficulties bridge the gap with our crisis grants. 
• Armed Forces families manage their finances and get their full entitlements through our Benefits and Money Advice.

 The Legion’s fundraising target is £37 million for this year’s Poppy Appeal.
