We Need You to Make a Difference
Each year in November thousands of uniformed personnel from the Navy, RAF and Army, with their supporters, hit the streets of our major cities as part of the Royal British Legions Annual Poppy Appeal. Once again, on the 6th November, Bristol will be proud to take part in, what is, the most ambitious local street collecting event of its kind.
Last year The Bristol Poppy Day raised over £22,000 in 12 hours, all of which went someway towards the £1.6 million that the Legion spends each week on providing practical support to members of the British Armed Forces, past and present and their families.
What we would like, is for your company or organisation to show their support, either by getting a fundraising team together with your colleagues, welcoming members of Armed Forces Personnel to collect in your offices or by making a generous donation, all of which will help you achieve corporate social responsibility goals whilst also being a part of a day when Bristol comes alive in support of the Armed Forces.
