Remembrance

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

It is the tradition of this Branch to hold a Pilgrimage around the Valley's War Memorials and War Graves on the Saturday preceding Remembrance Sunday.  This year it will be on the 11th November meeting outside the Library in Burton Bradstock at 10.00am

The Remembrance Day Service will be held on the 12th November in St. Mary the Virgin Church, Burton Bradstock at 10.45am
