Paul Murray from Brampton branch has been appointed as the Cumberland & Westmorland County Standard bearer for the ensuing year.

Paul will represent the county this year at the Royal British Legion Festival of remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in November. Congratulations to Paul and we look forward to working with him for the coming months

Remembrance Sunday Service & Parade.

The annual Service & Parade organised by Whitehaven Town Council will take place on Sunday 13th November at 11:00. A parade will start at Catherine Street, Copeland Council Offices at 10:30 and follow a route to Castle Park War Memorial where a short service of remembrance will be held followed by laying of wreaths

The parade will then proceed through the town along Lowther Street and King Street. A service will then be held in the United Reform Church, Market Place.
