Remembrance Commemoration
Remembrance Sunday & Armistice Day
The Royal British Legion is proud to serve as the national custodian of Remembrance, ensuring that the courage and sacrifice of our Armed Forces are never forgotten.
Each year, on Remembrance Sunday — the second Sunday in November — we come together as a community to honour all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
This year’s Remembrance Commemoration
Remembrance Service – held at the St Peter’s Church Memorial in the cemetery.
Muster outside the RBL Club at 10 am

Armistice Day Silence – at 11:00 am on 11th November, a two-minute silence will be observed on the Market Square, as we join the nation in reflection and gratitude.
Let us remember, with pride and thanks, all who served and those who continue to serve in the cause of peace.
