The Committee has decided to hold our meetings every quarter.
Our next branch meeting is next Tuesday 9 April, 7.30pm at Cross House, Bramley. Our speaker is Steve Day, our branch treasurer, whose talk s called .”How do we communicate” a look at the history and the future of communications including the soon-to-be change to digital telephony. As always, every one is most welcome including non-members.
We have not finalised arrangements for our May meeting apart from the date of Tuesday 14 May at 7.30pm - watch this space!
Instead of our traditional Annual Dinner in October, we are having a Summer BBQ on the new patio area at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club on FRIDAY 12 JULY from 6.30pm. There is a very large bbq menu and vegetarian, GF and other diets can be accommodated. The cost is £28 which includes the opportunity to take part in a putting competition in which the winner will win the cost of their meal!
Our special guest this year is Gp Capt Matt Roberts, Station Commander RAF Odiham.
Reserve the date and gather a group of family and friends to book a table! Alternative indoor accommodation is set aside for us in the event of inclement weather.
