I moved to Brackley in 1996 with my husband Paul and our two sons.  We had driven through Brackley many times previously, occasionally stopping off for fish and chips where Jade House is.  

I joined  Brackley Town Council.in 2011 having been elected by the residents of Brackley and was elected Mayor in May 2014  my Charities then was to raise money for a Defibrillator for the Town which is the one on the Old Fire Station and the other Charity was Brackley Branch RBL 

I was elected Mayor for the second time this year May 2024 my Charity is Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust  this Charity supports young children who love performing  both musically and in performing in drama, shows etc.  This includes SEND children and young  adults.  There is  local branch for Brackley combined with Middleton Stoney.  

I tour the County with other Mayors attending fund raising events on behalf of tesidents of Brackley putting our towns name in the forefront.  I have opened fetes locally and in June lit the Beacon for DD80 after processing with the RBL and alot of townfolk to the Town Park.  There are other events coming up were you will see me namely The TeddyBears Picnic, Classic Car Show the Fireworks and Remembrance day.  I am the Chairman of Brackley Town Council and on the first Monday of the month am fully robed for the Full Council Meeting which members of the public are very welcome to attend.
