On Sunday 21st April, Boston & District Branch of The Royal British Legion were Delighted to Host George Harwood for Sunday Lunch. George is a D-Day veteran who was in the Royal Navy, he was on an LCT at Normandy Beach. In May he will be celebrating his 100th Birthday. Happy Birthday George!
He chatted to members of the RBL and enjoyed a pint of Batemans beer with his lunch. The Landlord and staff at The Ball House Boston looked after George and kindly paid for his lunch.
