On the 15th of August the Blandford & District Branch remembered the VJ Day 75th anniversary. It was attended by the Mayor of Blandford Forum as well as representatives from Blandford Camp, the Children of Far East Prisoners Of War and Piper for the lament.

Wreaths were laid for the Burma Star Association, the Gurkha 8th Regiment, the Children of Far East Prisoners Of War and the Royal British Legion.
