2025 Recognition
At the Dorset County Royal British Legion conference at Ferndown, the Blandford branch was awarded a silver platter and framed certificate for our valued contribution to service in the community. The branch was also nominated for the Jellicoe Cup and has been awarded the 2nd place Certificate in recognition of the inspirational contribution to the work of the Legion. All national awards and certificates will be presented by the National Chair and National President at Annual Conference 2025.
Our deep and grateful thanks must go to all of the branch team who put so much into the events, from Bryan Kelly, Emma and Dale our branch chaplains, David Jardine, Byron Quayle, John William Dallison, Mike Dallison, Tony Lucas, and Geraldine Allen. Without their support, and the support of the community, no events would happen.

2024 Recognition
Congratulations to Tony Lucas, our branch Vice Chairman and standard bearer, who was presented with the standard bearer of the year shield and certificate at the 2024 Dorset RBL County Conference in Ferndown. Tony has represented the branch by parading the standard at various ceremonies and events throughout the year including funerals.

During the Armed Forces Expo in June 2024, our friends from the Armed Forces Veterans Bikers Charity presented the branch with a large framed patch similar to those they wear on their leathers. It is now proudly displayed in our meeting room in the poppy stables.
