Blackwood & District Branch members attended the annual Blackwood Town Council Civic Awards  in Blackwood Miners Institute on 24th November 2025.  The branch were nominated for an award "in recognition of raising over £30,000 for veterans in 2024-25, providing ceremonial support for Blackwood Town Council's annual remembrance services, and educating younger generations through school visits on the importance of remembrance".

Blackwood & District Branch members attended the RBL Gwent County AGM on 10th January 2026 and were awarded the Chairmans shield and certificate for "dedication and continuous commitment to the RBL in Gwent".
