The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Bishop's Stortford Town Council invites all to attend the Annual Remembrance Day Parade and Service taking place on Sunday 10 November 2024 and the Armistice Day Service on Monday 11 November 2024.

War Memorial in Bishop's Stortford
The War Memorial in Castle Gardens is dedicated to the 314 men and women of Bishop’s Stortford who fell in both World Wars. Listed are 207 names from World War I and 107 from World War II.
