The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday this year will be held on the 12th November and is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

This year the annual Berkhamsted parade to St Peters Church will take place on Sunday 12th November and will form up to march off from the car park at the end of Clarence Road at 14:45.

A short ceremony at the St Peters War Memorial will include a reading of all the names of the fallen of World War One and will be followed by a full Remembrance service inside the church.

A brief service will also be held on Saturday 11th November at the Berkhamsted RBL Club at 11am.
