Remembrance Sunday & Armistice
The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Axminster RBL Branch annually hosts the local Remembrance Sunday Service & Parade which is well supported. We always have a small marching contingent which forms up at South Street Car Park and marches through Axminster Town to the War Memorial on the Minster Green.
Armistice always falls on the 11th November and we hold a small service at the Axminster War Memorial at 1030hrs.
