D-Day 80 in Axminster
Axminster Branch organised a local D-Day 80 commemoration on the 8th June 2024. The venue was the Minster Green with a number of stalls & stands from local people and organisations.
We were lucky to have the South West Tommy's with their 1940s Soldiers and equipment on display. There were a couple of period Military vehicles and we had a 1940s singer (Jay) belting out some War time classics.
