Axminster VE Day 80 

Axminster held a VE Day 80 celebration on May 10, 2025, on The Minster Green, organised by the Royal British Legion Axminster Branch. The event featured various stalls and organisations, flower arrangements and artifacts in the Minster Church, and concluded with buglers sounding 'sunset'. The town also hosted other events, including a talk on May 8, film screenings and music at the Guildhall from May 9–11, and the event was described as having "the best day Axminster has seen in years" by one resident.
